We review body-shop collision estimates to identify calibration requirements to consider for the vehicle and repair scope, using applicable OEM procedures.

Built for body shops and collision centers

Send PJ Diagnostics the collision repair estimate and vehicle details. We review the repair line items to identify vehicle-specific ADAS calibration requirements that may need to be included in your repair plan.

This is a calibration-focused estimate review for body shops. It helps connect the work described in the estimate with the cameras, radar units and related driver-assistance systems that may be affected.

What we look for in the estimate

  • Windshield work involving a forward-facing camera.
  • Camera or radar removal, replacement or related mounting-area repairs.
  • Bumper, grille, body or other repair operations that may affect a supported ADAS system.
  • Calibration, aiming, initialization or related steps that should be checked for the specific vehicle and repair.

Requirements vary by manufacturer, model, equipment and repair procedure. A part listed on an estimate does not automatically establish every calibration needed, and the absence of a warning light does not replace a procedure check.

Send the estimate and vehicle details

  • The current collision repair estimate.
  • The VIN, year, make and model.
  • Your shop name and contact information.
  • Available scan reports, relevant photos and details of any repairs not yet reflected in the estimate.

Email pjlocksmith13@gmail.com or call 917-770-2440 to discuss the job. Include the latest revision if the repair plan has changed.

From estimate review to the calibration plan

We review the proposed work and explain the calibration items relevant to the vehicle and repair information supplied. Additional information, inspection or diagnostics may be needed to confirm the complete scope. If teardown or repairs reveal more damage, the calibration requirements may need to be reviewed again.

Estimate review does not replace applicable manufacturer repair procedures or on-vehicle diagnosis, and does not guarantee insurance approval or payment.
